Erin and Kelly were married at the wonderful Arlington Heights Evangelical Free Church and partied into the night at the Old Orchard Country Club. I was hired for my 4 hour services where I was able to start with the ceremony and end with the capturing of images taken during the couple's first dance. The image below is one of about 20 designs created, so it appears as a regular color image and again as this featherd edged, black and white image. The design on the lower right was used to illustrate both the bridal party and the full family group. A second version not shown, featured a similar image but with the other half of the new family as superimposed against one of the church's many huge and beautiful, stain glass windows.

Jennifer and Chad hired me for only 2 hours, yet their DVD has 295 high-resolution images, including 20 designs like the two illustrated in the grouping above. They asked me to incorporate the wedding invitation with an image of their hands and rings, and I created a few designs to accomodate that desire, the one illustrated here uses a close-up image of the altar flowers for the background, the hands and rings, and I scanned the invitation when returning to my home office. By substituting the DVD for the proof book, they have ownership of all the images forever, including the designs, and can make their own prints via ink jet or they can take selected files to a pro lab of their choice. The entire wedding attendance is on the right. Almost everyone came from an out-of-town location.

In early December I was hired to photograph the Chicagoland Mocha Sisters organization group and all it's sub-groupings. I superimposed the entire group image onto a set of balloons as also photographed at their December meeting. Visit their web-site listed below where soon some of those images taken should be posted.

To view their entire album as proofed for them on the internet, click on the following link and advance to see the pages flip before your eyes and turn your sound on too! I recently had these 2 montages printed and framed and they are both hanging on my office wall. The montage on the left was designed from images taken at the 2007 Kentucky Derby (winning horse, Street Sense) and printed at 24" x 36". The montage on the right was designed from images taken at the 2007 Arlington Million (winning horse, Jambalaya) and printed at 11" x 14".

I am truly running out of wall space and I often have to revert to simply replacing one image for another of the same exact size in an existing frame. Anyway, what great fun to have these favorite images printed at a larger size, framed and displayed.

Although I love sales of images of any size, what a shame that more people do not order much larger images for framing. I also have some of the wedding designs I have created printed at 16"x20" or 24"x36" for potential customers to view when making personal appointments with me. My living room has a vaulted cieling and currently 52 images are framed and displayed under 14 flood lights directed at the walls.
