Kent Desormeaux wins his second Illinois Derby in a row with Greeley's Galaxy in 2005, and here, with SweetNorthernSaint in 2006. Kent gets a hug from the owner, after the race, shown below.

The undercard also included a win by Victorina, (on the right)
and Russell Baze, in the Hawthorne, $100,000, Meafara Stakes.
